Another meet canceled due to weather.. Not much we can do about it.. Hopefully this Friday and Sunday are clear for us..Fridays meet is at Rockland Community College.. Meet starts at 4.30pm.. Bus will depart at 2.15pm. Return time around 11pm.. Directions are on the website..

RCC (Rockland Community College)DIRECTIONS: State Thruway 87 south..Leave at Exit 14B Airmont Rd.. Turn left onto  Airmont Road..Which becomes Highview Road.. Turn left at 2nd stop light(College Road).. RCC college will be a mile on your left.. The track will be a big building on your left..

On Sunday we leave for our League meet at 2.15pm ..Meet starts at 5pm.. We will be getting home around 11pm..If we are lucky…Directions are on   the website..

DIRECTIONS: Take taconic Parkway south to the Saw Mill Parkway south. You will merge on the Henry Hudson.. After you pay the toll get over to your left when you go under the GW bridge go left and follow the signs for Riverside Drive South..Less than a 1/2 mile turn left on 165th street. Go up one block to the light and that is Fort Washington.. The Armory is 3 blocks to the left.

Athletes and Parents…

If you look at the schedule we have a meet on 1/7 (wed), 1/9( fri) and 1/11 (sun). The freshman/sophmore meet which got postponed due to weather was moved to  1/6. This is way to many meets in one week. We will not be going to the 1/6 (tues) meet. We have bad weather coming Tuesday into Wednesday. If school and/or the meet is canceled we will then go to the Rockland Invitational on Friday .Due to the demanding nature of the League meet, not everyone will be running at Rockland on Friday.

Sunday’s League Championship meet is the most important meet of the season. Everyone participates at the league meet. As in previous years, if you choose not to compete at the League meet you are then off the team and taken off the roster. We made this clear to all athletes at our informational meeting earlier this year. Thank You…

Scheduled practice is from 2-3.30pm.. There will be an extended practice for Shot Putters from 3.30pm to 5pm.. Shot putters can go to either one or both..
