Go on the Armory website , go to calander, look for Nationals in NY.Look for USATF Membership. Once payment is complete make a copy for yourself and one for the coach. Yow will not be able to compete with out this proof of purchase.

2010 USATF Membership: All athletes
that participate in the 2010 National Scholastic Indoor Championship will need a valid 2010 USATF number. All participants must bring proof of purchase to registration

We will not be wearing John Jay Tops.. Start thinking about what you will be wearing.. Relay teams must have matching running tops.. Look for something inexpensive..Must be approved by Coaches!!

Start planning on how you will be getting to the armory for your event. Coaches can not drive your student athletes to the armory.

Several factors that have made it impossible for our full team to compete today at the State Qualifier. It is a shame when you have kids work their butts off and not be able to compete.. Yea we had some alternatives , ways of getting our kids there but it is not the responsibilty of the coaches to okay those avenues with out the backing of the our athletic directors. We finally got the okay for parents to drive their kids to the competition late on Sat. Rides were arranged and some of our athletes got a chance to compete..What a way to finish an exhausting day of phone tag with Ally Bernasconi making her way on to the Intersectional Section One State Relay Team with a 4th place finish. She will compete at Cornell University. next w/end.. It just shows that hard work by everyone pays off.. Congratulations Ally Bernasconi …other competitors today were:

I would to thank the Turi family for driving and the Santiago family for their support in helping get our athletes down to the Armory.

As of now the meet is still on! The bus will be leaving at 2pm. Check back on here for any more updates. Be prepared for tomorrow!

Due to the snow, we will not be going to Easterns.
With snow falling everyday this week and the possibilities of 18 inches by Friday, there is a great chance of not having school and practice the rest of the week. It is important to do something on your own. Go out and run for 20-25 minutes or find a treadmill. Incorporate some strides in the run too. You want to be sharp for the last meet of the season! Don’t waste all your training and hard work on some snow. State Qualifiers is Saturday be ready to rock-n-roll!! Lots of opportunities to end the season on the right note with nice new PR’s!

The 3200m relay team of Gabi,Danny Gabi and Bri ran there best time of the season with a 10:19.. Time might of been 3 to 4 secs faster if Gabi Drummond did not have to leap , and stumble over a fallen runner..

The 1600m relay team of Daniella,Lauren,Michelle and Ally lowered their school / county record to 4:06.3.. Lauren Crawford and Michelle Granuzzo ran their fastest splits of the season.

The boys 1600m relay team was led by TJ Scanlan who ran a 53.8 anchor leg

The boys 3200m relay team was off to a good start with a ccouple of 2:08 legs from Nick Joseph and Mike Turi
