Because the Warwick Fast Times Relay Invitational has become a very popular meet and the number of schools competing has increased, they have only selected the top 40 or so relay times. Not all entries were accepted, and there are now changes to who will be attending the meet this Tuesday, June 1st. The following will be competing:

The State Qualifier meet has been rescheduled due to the pending thunderstorms. Thursday’s Day 1 meet is now on Friday at Arlington HS and Friday’s Day 2 Meet is now on Saturday at 10 am at White Plains HS.

All uniforms must be returned if your season has ended! There is a $60 charge for any uniforms not returned.

Please pass the word that the Empire State Games are back, in Buffalo, this summer. The Hudson Valley track & field trials will be held 6.14 and 6.15, beginning at 4 p.m., at the big, new Middletown High School complex. Race walks are on Sunday, 6.13, at Rockland Lake North; Larry Beckerle can expound further on those.

Critical to know is that registration must be completed online by the day before the trials. There’s also a $10 registration fee.

Kevin Stewart is overseeing HVT&F computer tasks, so email or call him at 845.362.0466 if you need help. Kids who were entered two years ago, should have already received an email about all this. Of course, Joe Iatauro’s the man in charge, so he can answers questions, too, when you see him.

The only “imbalance” on the ESG schedule of events is that there is no Scholastic Women’s Hammer Throw. Those girls have to try out for the Open Women’s division. We have been told, “Maybe next year, if we have the kids.” Well, WE HAVE THE KIDS, please urge your girls to throw in the HV trials. Our friends further upstate are also pushing this.

FROM NYS THRUWAY Go South to Exit 12 onto Rte 303 S (approx. 4 miles) to Orangeburg Road. Make a right onto Orangeburg Road (2nd light) make a right onto Dutch Hill Road, school is the 2nd complex on your right past the firehouse.

All uniforms need to be handed in!!!!… If not there will be a $60.00 dollar charge.. Just because the budget passed it does not mean we will have a infinite amount of money to play with.. We will still have budget restrictions which i will discuss further..So please be helpful and support next years team and hand in your uniform.. Thank You
