We finished in 3rd place with 67.5 pts.. Behind Arlington and Poughkeepsie.. League 1st place winners were Mike Turi in the 3200m and Mi’chael White in the Long Jump. Great effort by Kevin French finishing 3rd in the 100om. Tim Mcintyre Pole Vaulting for the 1st time this season and clearing 11′-6″ was a great effort .
We have 122 boys and girls on this team and we are looking for volunteers. Work together and organize a group to get over to the track to shovel some snow off after the storm passes would be great. Any one that drives to school should have a shovel in your car so if we need to shovel more we can. If we can get a group of 10 or more kids to meet up at the same time and shovel at least to two inside lanes that would be great. With numbers the track can be cleared in minutes! We will then be able to get some quality work on the track instead of using the roads and school parking lot. Some one on the team needs to take charge and make this happen!
THE COACHES INVITATIONAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE SNOW.
THE MEET HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY JANUARY 12 AT 4:30 AT RCC.

With the school district only allowing 2 buses for our team. We will not be able to take everyone to our League Championships and County Championship meets. It is unfortunate with all the time and effort our athletes have put in this season that they are not allowed this opportunity to compete. I made this clear to all of them yesterday that the coaches will be putting a list together of athletes that will not be continuing on. We will let everyone know on Monday the 10th. We currently have a roster of 122 and plan on only taking around 90. Our sport is the biggest contributor of any sport in the country in giving kids a chance to compete, a chance to set personal records , break personal records, a chance to belong.!! This is why our sport of running, jumping and throwing is like no other..If parents have any questions please feel free to contact me.. Coach Lee
I expect the meet to be canceled.. either way there is no bus transportation when schools are closed. We will keep you posted if meet is rescheduled.
Life touch will be taking pictures on Friday, January 14 for the year book @ 2pm…Be on time. and be dressed..Athletes who will not be going to Leagues are welcomed to be part of the team photo. The bus will be leaving for Leagues directly after..
