Former coach Matt Uzenski (Uzi) is running the Bsoton Marathon this April. He is being sponsered by SHADE, an organization thats cause is to fight skin cancer. He is asking for help in the form of donations. Here is a message from him…

John Jay Athletes, Parents and Friends,

I am running the Boston Marathon this year and I am running for the SHADE Foundation team. The SHADE Foundation is an organization dedicated to the fight against skin cancer. I set a goal of raising $3,500 for the organization. I believe it is an important cause and I am excited that every step I am taking will be dedicated to this worthy cause. I have attached a link to the website where you could go on to donate to the cause. Please forward the link to any family or friends that you think would be able to support this important cause. 

There is limited times for getting your physicals.. Lets get it done early.. If not it may cost you!!!!

Those of you who drive to schoool: If you can, please bring shovels to practice on Monday. Lets try to clear our track of snow so we can have some serious workouts on it!

We will have practice every day his wek at 2pm.. We know it is regents week and it any be dificult fo for some of you to get back for practice .. Please make every effort .. For many of you this will be your last week make the best of it..  We have County Championships on  Friday @ Rockland CC . Bus will depart at 2.15pm.. Be on time.
