Coach Roth and I would like to thank all our athletes for their dedication,focus and hard work this cross country season. You represented John Jay with tremendous energy. The journey that we undertake starts early in the heat of the summer and culminates in the frosty mornings of the fall . It is where we gather and chase the 3.1k dream.  Winter and Spring will come and go and the chase will begin again. Thank You for a great season..

What a turn out !!!! 120-140 …The 1st week went very well. I saw a great amount of talent.. I am impressed.. Everyone is on time and getting there warm ups in.. We are very excited about this season.. I have completed our schedule and i will hand it out on Monday. The week after the holiday we will have a Parents /Coaches meeting.. It is very important that parents be there so that they can get answers to their questions. I will let everyone know in advanced when and where the meeting will be held.  

We will pick it up a notch on Monday be  ready!!!

Mike Turi finished 36th out of 108 athletes at the Class AA state Championships.. Mike ran a time of 16:47….A great ending to a fantastic season..

We are all excited by the turn out at todays Indoor Track Meeting.. If you are coming out for Track for the first time  or if you have been sitting on your rear end during the fall  i put this challenge out to all of you. Get out and get moving.. Get some running in, get some ab work in , do some push ups..Start getting  yourself  in shape.You have 5 days to get some running in before practice starts on Monday. Our motto is ” There are no Short Cuts to the Top”
