Take advantage of this recruiting seminar. This is important for all athletes who plan on running in college.
Congratulations to the outstanding job the Boys team did this year. We were picked in the early season polls to finish 5th in our section.. We did finish fifth in the Class A state qualifier on Friday. We did this with missing 2 of our top 5 for the majority of this season. These young men did an excellent job stepping up this season led by by Valliappan Lakshmanan , Troy Dean , Kyle McCormack and Aaron Finch.
The hard work has paid off for my 2 top guys this year. Mike Turi who ran to a second place PR time of 16:12 and will be taking part in his 2nd straight state meet competition. He will be joined with Kevin French, who was not feeling his best but gutted out a tough race and earned that 5th and final spot with a time of 16:50 to pave his way to the state meet. My wife and I are very happy to be making the 3 hr trip!!..We still have more big races ahead but we are looking forward to show casing our talent this w/end.
Good job yesterday girls!
It was a good end to a great season. I hope you all finished knowing that you gave it your all. Take some well-deserved time off and get ready for winter track! :) Make sure you bring your money in for the dinner and continue working on the raffles if you haven’t already. The XC coaches have a mailbox in Mr. Seipp’s office. If you have your money during school, you may be able to put it in there, otherwise, Coach Lee will be practicing with Turi and French after school..
